Tate works at This is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City, so that's where he wanted to do the shoot. I'm so glad I was able to shoot there! And I can't wait to go back in the future with a bride or a couple, because seriously, that place is amazing.
We shot for about 3 hours, and Tate and I were laughing for most of it. There were so many great little nooks and crannies that we shot in, and it was even better because we got to ride around in a golf cart. We tried to get some ducks and bunnies in a few shots, but let's just say they were a little less than cooperative. That aside, I really loved this shoot. So many of the photos turned out great because Tate was really relaxed and happy.
I think I'll definitely go back, not to shoot again, but because I like historical sites like that. The houses and buildings are beautiful, and I'm a nerd. I love the history behind places like that. Plus it overlooks the whole Salt Lake Valley, it's quite breathtaking at sunset.
